NPC Attitude
Attitudes of NPCs
Overview of NPC Attitudes
A Non-Player Character (NPC) or creature’s disposition and actions in regards to the Player Characters (PCs) are defined by its current Attitude toward them. An NPC that is Friendly toward a given PC is one that will offer advice or help in small ways whereas an NPC that is Hostile toward that same PC will likely attack or berate them. NPC Attitudes can be changed, through creative role-playing, by way of the Diplomacy skill [PHB-71], or as a result of taking actions that serve to benefit or befriend that NPC.
