This bundle of “scrolls” comprise Valkur’s journal. The lettering is scorched into cured animal skins, a low quality vellum, using a heated stone stylus. Some of the writings are in the mul’s own hand, others are collected from those who have written about him. The vellum sheaves are rolled tightly, and tied together with twine.
