It is a dark time for the galaxy. The war between the Galactic Alliance and the Empire has ended with the Alliance in ruins and the Empire betrayed by the Sith. Emperor Fel is in hiding, usurped by Darth Krayt and his Sith Order. Now in control of the Moff Council, the Empire, and Coruscant, he prepares to remove all obstructions from his path and bring order to the galaxy.
In this turbulent time, heroes emerge from unexpected corners. Just trying to survive this new universe, these heroes have banded together with the chance to maintain the light, and pave the way for the darkness to be driven back once more.
These heroes have found a mysterious benefactor, Ace Karrde. A descendant of the legendary crime lord Talon Karrde, Ace has hired the heroes as his retainers. He has provided them with supplies and funding, and has asked in return to provide him with information and “adventurous missions”. The arrangement has proven very beneficial thus far, but very little is known about Ace or his secret organization “The Talons” other than they broker information to anyone who can pay for it.
There may come a time when Ace’s goals run contrary to the heroes…
