These ruins in The Southern Freelands were rediscovered and settled by an orcish tribe fleeing persecution and extermination. As news of the settlement spread, other pilgrims and outcasts arrived to join the community. Eventually, the ruined city grew into an active town, and serves as one of the bright points of civilization in the Southern Freeland wilderness.
