The third born of the All-Maker, Lorinar’s duty is to preserve the balance between Rathinar and Keldinar. He is constantly traveling the skies between the the Twin Worlds, tempering his brothers’ fury and wrath towards each other. He was the one who told the prophecy of the Apocalypse, the event when Rathinar and Keldinar release their full fury upon each other. He knows that he must stave off that day, and do what he can through his worshipers to maintain the balance between them.

Lorinar is a tempering force in the Twin Worlds. He seeks to maintain the balance between good and evil in all matters. His ordained followers are sought out as intermediaries and ambassadors between warring nations. Lorinar is also watching any major battles between worshipers of Rathinar and Keldinar. He must know what transpires, and who’s anger he must calm the next day.

Lorinar is prayed to for any great journey. It is said that Lorinar carries a great lantern that lights the darkness, and that the moon is what his lantern manifests as in the Worlds. He has a noose that he carries to help capture those who are lost and guide them back to the right path.

Lunar connections

The other Lorinar is the moon that orbits between the two Twin Worlds. Because the Wayfare Gates only work when the moon is in alignment between the two planets, and because the light of the moon illuminates the night, common faith holds that the moon is actually the god Lorinar manifested on this plane.
