Nestled in the northern portion of the Elsir Vale, Brindol lies just south of the base of the Giant’s Shield Mountains. Brindol was the site of the coalition victory over the Red Hand of Doom fifty years ago and has prospered greatly since that time. Many travellers from the region come to Brindol to visit the Hall of Valor and see the relics of the war on display there. Many veterans of the war retired in Brindol and while most have since passed on, a few yet remain.

Brindol’s wealth stems not only from travellers though, as the fields around the city are lush and the harvests bountiful. Brindol produces far more food than it consumes and serves as a major provided of food to the region, particularly Overlook. Brindol’s size has also allowed it to support a wide assortment of merchants, from tanners and blacksmiths to general stores and alchemists.

While Brindol cannot hope to compete with the military might of Overlook, the city’s stores of food allow it to serve as an equal partner in the region to the Dwarven city. Brindol offers a host of services to ordinary travellers and adventurers alike, including several stores, inns, and taverns.
