Me and Danny have some stuff going on I dont know if he will make it at all and ill be a little late. Ill try checking in on the hang out every chance I get. Sorry for the horrid schedule conflicts the last 2 weeks.
Im good monday, wedn, or thursday this week, I do start a shift that is very similiar to kalebs though and will be working fri-sunday next weekend. Again I can make it on saterday but it would be after work so 7pm mountain.
I’ll be happy to join your game if possible. If you could give me the details (in an e-mail maybe) with just something to get me started, like module, story, example character, that kind of thing.
If you need a supporting role or you have any ideas, please let me know. Also, if you have it pretty well planned out, and you don’t need a third wheel, that’s cool too.
I cant wait to pick this back up, also i plan on running my game tomorrow 4/3 @ 4Z30 mountain unless there is a better time for everybody in the next couple of days
Wow, that’s actually really cool. I might write up a little something for that, or we could talk about who might be appropriate to come to our aid.
Also, hope Donovan can join us. I look forward to seeing his character! It would definitely be helpful to carrying the story forward while I’m in the field for three weeks after this game.
If Donovan is ready to play that’s great. I expect this next game to be hard. So hard, in fact, that during the adventure any player can spend a Benny to suddenly summon a “Mysterious Stranger” to aid the Posse.
Alright. Turns out I gotta work tomorrow doing TLPs and the like for a Sunday STX lane. Doesn’t mean I won’t be done by 1830 of course. I’ll do my best to show up early, and I’ll shoot a text message to Shawn if anything is amiss.
I’ll keep everyone abreast of my situation. There may or may not be a field problem that day, difficult to say. My JRTC rotation starts in mid-March, and I’ll keep everyone informed on that front as well.
This Saturday I’ll try to show up early and get my technical issues out of the way. I know Roll 20 doesn’t play well with my computer, but hopefully we can fix it.
And yeah, lots of fun last time. Hope for more fun next time, too!
And I can and will jump on early to assist in troubleshooting. also to the Marshal I will also to help with the things like token setup and setting up the commands to assoicate it with our guys in journal. and how to give us the option to change and see the things like markers and change health stats. and show you how to transfer them from one page to the next with the ease of a copy and paste command. i’m not really wanting the battle map just something a little more user friendly tracking wounds, fatigue, ammo, money, buffs. and what not. And Great Game last weekend looking forward to the next one.
I found an online mapping tool that i think the map from “Guess who is coming to Donner” was made from. not in peices but it can be exported in page by page pdf format so you could print the thing in single pages. to make the whole map. just like in that adventure. anyways just something i stumbled across today. along with the people that made the serenty RPG game. now has the rights to FireFly and is now making the game. anyways see you all later tonight.
Player Overview This link I suggest we watch to ease into
the New Virtual Tabletop the last free option for us. Its features are a lot more developed then Table Top Forge was.
This will start a Hangout using the new app version and then it will be available in your Recent Apps toolbar at the top. Authentication isn’t 100% complete yet so we aren’t restricting the app to backers only yet. Once authentication does go in, as long as one person in the Hangout is a backer the Developer Preview version will be available to everyone in the Hangout.
We are working hard on documenting this new version but the current feature set includes:
Chat area that allows normal text chat, emotes, aliases, whispers, macros, and dice parsing.
Macro UI that lets you define macros for commonly used rolls. Can use the Play button next to the macro, or type “/m macro_name” or now “/macro_name” in the chat.
3D dice area available but are in an early alpha state. Right now the 3D dice parser can’t do formulas only basic die rolls. You can call them up by doing /3D 1d20 or /3d 4d6 for instance. You can also have a “local” 3D dice that doesn’t get reported to chat by using /3L 1d20 or /3L 4d6. You can turn a local 3D die into a public die by right-clicking on it and throwing it.
Adding Images, Tokens, and Drawing Tools are available in the Scene Tools panel. You can add from Google Drive, Google Image search, Google Maps, and via URL. Google Drive is going to be how we encourage users to use local file resources and we will soon provide a flow to easily upload local files to Google Drive and share out tot he Hangout in one step.
The drawing tools now have rectangles, lines, and circles as well as an eraser. We have done a good amount of testing and it should be a lot more stable than the old method of drawing.
Tokens tooltips can allow for multi-line input on the right-click menu. You can even put HTML in there if you are feeling brave. So the token tooltip could be an IMG link to a full portrait or even a mini-character sheet.
Features coming real soon:
We will be adding back in the ability to export/import the state of the Hangout (including macros) within the next few days. We are working to see if we can get Google Drive integration working to make it even easier to manage.
Table functionality will be making a comeback but with an even easier to use UI and a separate Deck builder tool.
Initiative Tracker with sorting and notes will be coming soon.
Also, we do have our Issue tracker up and running. If you encounter a bug or want to throw in a feature request please visit:
http://tabletopforge.com/Issues/
We will be tracking bugs and feature requests and letting you know when they get fixed or added. Our website will be updated within the next few days with our new Roadmap of where we are going.
Finally, we are working on the integration to get you the awesome art assets that our artists have been sending us. We don’t quite have all the art in yet but what we do have will be available soon."
Game on Wednesday, right? Or are we putting it off until this week-end?
If we have the game sooner, just ping me on the hangout or send me a text message. My number is (318)623-1952.
So… no game tonight? :(

I’m sorry to hear that. Well, get better soon. I think that puts at two people and that’s including my myself. We can try for next weekend.
Sorry Guys, I woke up with a stomach flu. I don’t think i’m going to be doin much of anything today.
Wow, that’s actually really cool. I might write up a little something for that, or we could talk about who might be appropriate to come to our aid.
