Deadlands Reloaded: The Weird West

This is the largest mestizo settlement in the area, outside of the Spanish Quarter in Lost Angels itself. Don Lopez leaves this little town alone. Although it’s as mestizo as anything, it’s also only 22 miles to the south of Lost Angels. This means that the people here are already paying tithes to the Church of Lost Angels. For that reason, Lopez’s sons have little sway here.

There’s a small chapel for Grimme’s church here, but the Guardian Angels don’t come by too often. The mestizos all but openly worship their own faith here, their special blend of Catholicism and their own ancient rites. Shrines to the saints are scattered about the city, and these have somehow managed to escape the Guardians’ notice so far.

The Days of the Dead celebrations here are fantastic, beating out even those in Lost Angels. After all, the people here don’t have to be watching over their shoulders for the Guardians all the time. If you’re into this kind of party, you owe it to yourself to make it down here next November.
