A minor demon from the lunar mansions of the Mutian pantheon, a messenger to the mortal world offering an unholy and selfish union between the devils and Bahamut himself. The demon was struck with Bahamut’s piety, and a love of sorts grew between them. She was taken pregnant, and, eager to return to his mission of truth, Bahamut left her in the care of a council of giants, their names gone, and in woodland now lost to memory the Shivering Poe gave birth to Heleg, the only mannish child of the god-dragon. The Shivering Poe expired then, overwhelmed by the act and its importance, and her spirit returned to the sky from whence it came.

Some theorize that Heleg was the first tiefling, though this theory is mostly discredited by conservative Mutian scholars.
