Heat Makes People Crazy, I

As part of our site redesign I’m going to try and do these postgames from an in-game POV. Eventually I’ll retcon all the other postgames to be in the same voice. I think it’ll improve overall flow and re-readability later.
Wizard Peabody,

As requested, here are the details regarding the matter that took place upon the full moon evening of August 1st, 2012 within the Dallas & Fort Worth area.

As near as my meager divination skills have been able to determine, everything began when a group of Lycanthropes (under the guise of a roving white supremacist motorcycle gang), working with a somewhat independent minded Fae (the Satyr Oreamnos) of our local Summer Court Duchy, abducted the Sonomantic Talent Erica Goodchilde (Please reference other documents previously submitted regarding relative power levels of magically inclined individuals within the region). She, Ms. Goodchilde, was in the company of another local Talent, known colloquially as Claret (Claire Watkins, Alchemist) at the time and Ms. Watkins was allowed to flee.

Ms. Watkins then proceeded to our local Accorded Neutral Ground, the Atwater’s “speakeasy,” where she encountered one of our region’s more deadly Theriomorphs (Elena Torres, Theriomorph ex genere: Puma Concolor). Ms. Torres, along with the abducted, are members of a powerful local Clandestinus Comitatus referred by most as “The Scooby Squad” (reference American Television quod vide Cartoons and Film).

Though I could not divine the specifics, Warden Harper (also a member of the “Scooby Squad” Comitatus) was able to magically determine Ms. Goodchilde’s location. Suffice to say, Ms. Goodchilde’s group arrived, in force, within a short time.

The abduction appears to have been orchestrated by a minor noble (Baron) within the local Summer Court Duchy, one Lord Montfort, a centaur. Of interest, the local Summer Fae have been able to bring into existence a creature type of the NeverNever strongly derived on the spiritual essence of a local insect pest – Solenopsis invicta (Red Fire Ant). These creatures, referred locally as simply “Invictae” appear to be strongly under the sway of Lord Montfort. The Lycanthropes were leveraged as pawns, undoubtedly to provide mortal seeming “muscle” for an abduction that took place (the Satyr Oreamnos was heavily involved in their magical coercion).

As is the observed trend with the more powerful Clandestini Comitati, violence ensued.

Lord Montfort and the Invictae were obliged to flee. However, another powerful Clandestinus Comitatus, a Theriomorph “Pack” (ex genere: Canis Lupus) now came into play. The Pack, referred locally as “The Fort Wolf Posse” had claimed the area in which Ms. Goodchilde (the abducted party) had been taken, and also in which the battle with Lord Montfort took place.

There appears to be some sort of dispute between these two Comitati regarding the disposition of a Fae Malk that has attached itself to Ms. Goodchilde.

Supplemental Information to be provided shortly.

As always, in loyal service to the White Council,
