After those…
Feather finishes up Paige’s dress design and gets to work on it. He asks Mjolnir to drop by to make some buttons for the dress based on Ripped’s artwork from their website. Mjolnir notices the design as resembling what he thought were stray pencil marks on the note his mother gave him. Feather sees that the design is a modified I-Ching symbol meaning “Good Luck”.
From the band’s website, Feather learns that they formed three years ago, recently changed their manager and then got the record deal. He decides it might be prudent to go to this party and meet the band and their manager. He tricks Mjolnir into going as Paige’s date, then uses his status in that world to get himself, Dramson, and Bran inside the party.
The cabal found themselves back in the empty room after doing some investigating. There were discussions of desserts and what kind of Halloween display would be used at the Sanctum. At one point, bloody razor blades appear on one wall and slowly slide down, trailing blood. The blades are seemingly real, but they disappear after several moments.

Bran Bones was still in Las Vegas, attempting to see if putting distance between the members of the group would affect the way the Room handles things. While there he visited some clubs and sent camera-phone pictures back to Mjolnir, who worked at his forge. Meanwhile, Feather, Dramson, and Lok made two trips to the library trying to find any accounts of weird rooms in the history of Philadelphia.

There were calls for Banshee to reveal what she saw. “Custom dictates that what I saw is not spoken of.” When the calls kept coming, Banshee rose wearily and left. The rest of the Councilors tried to calm the mages, pointing out that Death doesn’t mean dying, and could just as easily mean that a great change is coming. Winter assured those assembled that the Councilors would look into this development and closed the meeting.

ST Note:We were missing a player when this was played, and I had to force the character into the story a bit to get it rolling for the others, so one of the characters doesn’t talk at all.
The characters arrived at the old farmhouse just south of center city within a few minutes of each other. The house and barn stand on two acres of land that would have been outside Philadelphia when it was first built a couple hundred years ago. Mjolnir had already notified the others that he would be late, so Bran Bones, Feather, Lok, and Jim decided to explore their new Sanctum without him.
