What does the Underworld of these following places look like

  • The Four Cities
  • Neotokyo (Kazuo took an airship and flew from Marama’s Fell to Neotokyo to see what was there)
  • Sijan (Following Shroud’s takeover)

ok wait. I am idiot, I was confusing monks and priests for one in the same. The Monks became the Secret Police, but the priests are still around. They teach the immaculate faith, but no longer do the monks force a certain religious creed. Hence smaller underground religions are gaining ground. The Immaculate Faith is still strong but it is now simply a major faith on the Isle, not the only faith.

Didn’t the Immaculate Monks all become the Shogun’s secret police. If there are no priests of the Immaculate Faith, how is it kept alive? Also there was that shrine that we fought at in Calir, it was an abandoned shrine that was the Immaculate Dragons but was now abandoned because of the Shogunate?

I also thought I remembered a comment during the Dragon’s Fist adventures in 782 where the Immaculate Faith was disbanded. I guess that is what is throwing me for a loop. For the record the Urashimas didn’t care one way or the other about the immaculate faith, but they would like to avoid paying tithes to a religion that they know is bogus.

RE:SECULARIZATION

there is no ‘official’ religion of the Shogunate, however there is also no censors or inquisition. there have been no decrees about religion one way or another besides the abolishment of the Wyld Hunt. Unless such decrees have come from the urashimas? As to the prevalent religions on the Blessed Isle it’s a huge hodgepodge. not only the three you listed, but a myriad of others, including those who still hold to the Immaculate Philosophy.

And I agree with Luke: please keep personal commentary and speculations out of the wiki pages. Keep it down to the bare facts and maybe often-heard rumors.

Also, take advantage of the wiki-linking feature where you surround certain text with double brackets “[[blablah]]” if there are characters or locations or whatever mentioned. That way people can go in and add something if they like. For example, I put some brackets around certain people and events on the page about the Civil War.

Made some small edits to various wiki pages and added some. Did some summaries for Oberon and Kyden on the “characters” page, including pictures. Do people want me to put their stats on their page so they can be used?

The Second Shogunate is now a secular state, completely. The worship of the Immaculate Dragons is now illegal, and due to indiscriminate censors in the Consolidation, no one wants to risk worshiping the Elemental Dragons.

As a result the religious side of the Blessed Isle has devolved into three forms

  • The Cult of Gaia

Worship of Gaia was specifically never outlawed in the Second Shogunate unlike the Dragons. They preach that the Dragon-Bloods are really the Chosen of Gaia, the Earth Mother, and now worship her with a fervor of their own pace, whereas the Immaculate faith was shoved down their throats by the Scarlet Empress.

  • The Pagan Cults

The myriad of shrines and worship to the individual gods of the Blessed Isle who do now occasionally visit with their followers, after many years of being ignored the gods are happy to be ackknowledged by the mortals.

  • Ancestor Worship

Most troubling is the resurgence of Ancestor worship. The veneration of past elders is a troubling one for the Blessed Isle considering that Stygia is on the darker underworld side of Creation.

Is everyone ok with this being put in the Secularization article? Kazuo mentioned two of these three during his talk with Asuma

Does anyone have any plans for the city trapped in Ice in the North called Tzatli? I have a story segment that I would like to write for Kazuo, where his excavations of these ruins is constantly being attacked by Varajtful Cannibals, but I didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes if they had a plan for the city.

There is no forum on Obsidian Portal. We have to pay for an advanced account for that.

Yu-Shan, Creation, and sorta shadowlands are ‘Within Fate’ everything else is not.

also, can we please limit wiki entries to what actually happened? please, no color-commentary or speculation. leave that stuff for Character pages or the forum or the adventure log.

What is and isn’t part of Fate?

Yu-Shan (not sure since technically its where Fate is) Underworld (doubt it but I don’t know for sure) Shadowlands (not sure) Malfaes (I could make a strong argument either way since the incarna DID imprison them, and set rules upon them). Where does Fate begin and end when it comes to the Wyld? Border? Middle?

I made the List of Deathlords page, just so we would have a status report on each of them. My reasoning is that at present we have taken down 3 of the 13 Deathlords… sort of.

The Mask of Winters was replaced by Shroud of the Ebon Void, so I think we can safely say the Mask of Winters is no longer around except for the mask fragment

The Silver Prince… I have no idea as that was Augustus’ and Shroud’s story. I assume they somehow guaranteed destruction

The First and Forsaken Lion I listed as destroyed for the following reasons. One we have his crumpled armor and sword. Two the Princess Magnificient, the deathlord made subservient to the First and Forsaken Lion is now running the First and Forsaken Lion’s Show. Three the Maelstrom which was the First and Forsaken’s flagship is now under Princess Magnificient’s control. Considering the fluff behind their relationship I thought given her actions there was enough to consider him destroyed as she couldn’t takeover without him gone.

Also the Final Maelstrom wasn’t destroyed. We took out 2 of its 5 power cores. The Walker in Darkness’ Shields reflected one of the blasts back at it. Last we saw it, it was leaving the battlefield being chased by a Denansdor Cruiser

Clarification required: wiki page ‘List of Deathlords’ has the First and Forsaken Lion listed as destroyed. While I would like to believe that, I do not think this is accurate – as I recall, some havoc was wreaked and the big-nasty-ship-thingy was brought down, but if my understanding is correct, that was a piece of a much, much bigger picture.

Please enlighten me.

Ok I was VERY bored this week, and I was procrastinating. Bad combination.

Anyway, all of the Urashima Family is done. House Urashima article is mostly done. University of Creation article is mostly done.

Realm Civil War article and Second Shoguante article started, I tried as best I could, but we haven’t really elaborated exactly what kind of government the Second Shogunate is. I was thinking technically a military Dictatorship, with a Deliberative to run domestic matters. Sort of like an early Parliament model. Named Kazuo’s Mother First Minister, hope that’s ok with everyone, but it seemed apt.
