The first real conflict in the war was a smashing success for the party and their allies, except for the loss of Hope. The Dragon ended up helping the party, although likely unwittingly. The party decided to head to Balic to steal a ship and rescue the genasi islanders from the rule of Balic. Unfortunately, the party found themselves trapped and facing their worst memories.
After escaping the trap and conversing with some unknown man, the party raided the sorcerer-king’s vault and ran like they were being chased by the king of Balic himself (mainly because they were). While the escape was successful, the party lost another pair of members.
The party, now down to Sid, Argyl, Karina and Ilrath, must now face how to win this war with a few new allies and one enemy now extremely pissed off.
