Miranda-Yakshi is the name of the Miranda Corporation and the Yakshi Syndicate Family. A bond forged during the First Reach, Miranda-Yakshi is a corporation with ethnically Jewish-Sino Japanese ties. The Corporation deals extensively in mundane commodities, such as ore, wood, water, constituent elemental gasses and minerals, as well as seed, grain and terraforming material.

Make no mistake though, Miranda-Yakshi is by no means an average corporation, blitz terraforming initiates have made them one of the premier sources of colonization and colonization technology in the galaxy.

Miranda-Yakashi’s Main port is on Hokutopia, a lushly terraformed planet famous for having its capitol situated inside a dormant volcano which provides the city with an immense amount of geo-thermal energy. The status of the volcano is rigidly monitored and there are a series of tunnels underneath it that have been used to direct lava flow to prevent the unthinkable.
