Hidden on the far side of the Twilight Peaks, covered in ash from Death’s Sea, the ancient ruins of the Forge of Upandal lie disguised from mortal eyes, until Upandal himself sees fit to reveal it. In the centuries before the Scourge, the legendary Weaponsmith Nemar Firewalker found the Forge and within it discovered the secrets of creating drakkars, which he brought back to his people in the Twilight Peaks. Since that time, the forge lay hidden, protected by it’s location and the devotion of Upandal’s Questors.

After the destruction of the Isle of Thera, Sigurd Shadowback sought out the forge to use it to create his Heart Armor. He and The Passion’s Champions found the Forge in the mountains and defeated the undead and elemental guardians that protected it, thus proving their worth to Upandal. Sigurd used the power and resources of the Forge to craft Faith’s Redemption, his Heart Armor and life’s work as both a Weaponsmith and a Warrior.
