Gatekeeper Mystagogue
Heirs to a tradition over sixteen millennia old, the gatekeeper mystagogues stand among the greatest foes of the daelkyr and their aberration spawn. Charged with cleansing Khyber of all aberrations and maintaining the dimensional seals that protect Eberron against another incursion from Xoriat, gatekeeper mystagogues are the highest echelon of the Gatekeeper druids.

Alignment: Neutral good, lawful good, true neutral, chaotic neutral.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The gatekeeper mystagogue gains proficiency with light and heavy maces.
Nature Bond: The gatekeeper mystagogue must take the animal companion option of the nature bond. In addition, instead of gaining some abilities, the mystagogue’s companion gains the following abilities.
- At 1st level, the animal companion’s natural weapons are considered to be made of byeshk for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. These attacks do not gain any other benefits of byeshk.
- At 3rd level, the animal companion gains a + 2 bonus on saves against the supernatural and spell-like abilities of aberrations. This ability replaces evasion.
- At 6th level, the animal companion gains the slippery mind ability. This ability replaces devotion.
- At 15th level, if the animal companion hits an aberration that the gatekeeper mystagogue also hits with a melee attack in the same round, the animal companion’s attack deals an extra 2d6 points of damage. This ability functions only once per round. This ability replaces improved evasion.
Repel Aberration: You gain the Repel Aberration feat. Additionally, you gain another daily use of the feat for every four class levels of gatekeeper mystagogue. This ability replaces wild empathy.
Invest Byeshk Weapon: As a swift action, a gatekeeper mystagogue can spend a use of his repel aberration ability to charge a normal weapon, giving it the properties of byeshk for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. Alternatively, he can charge a byeshk weapon, or for two charges a normal weapon, with nature’s wrath for one round, enabling it to overcome any form of damage reduction possessed by an aberration. Additionally, any aberration struck by the weapon is dazed for one round unless it succeeds on a Fortitude save (DC 10 + mystagogue level + Cha modifier). This ability replaces the druid’s woodland stride ability.
Aberration Banemagic: At 4th level, the gatekeeper mystagogue gains Aberration Banemagic as a bonus feat. This ability replaces resist nature’s lure.
Purifying Arc: Beginning at 6th level, as a swift action you can spend a use of your repel aberration ability to create a line of purifying energy between you and your animal companion (which must be within 20 feet of you for this effect to function). Any aberration along this line takes a -1 penalty on attack rolls and saving throws for 1 round (no save). This ability replaces the use of wild shape gained at 6th level.
Torturing Arc: Beginning at 10th level, as a swift action you can spend a use of your repel aberration ability to create a line of disrupting energy between you and your animal companion (which must be within 20 feet of you for this effect to function). Any aberration along this line takes 2d6 points of damage and is nauseated for 1 round. A successful Fortitude save (DC 10 + mystagogue level + Cha modifier) negates the nauseated effect. This ability replaces the use of wild shape gained at 10th level.
Purge Aberrations: At 13th level, as a standard action, you can spend a use of your repel aberration ability to deal 5d6 points of damage + 1d6 points per two class levels to all aberrations within a 30-foot burst. A successful Will save (DC 10 + mystagogue level + Cha modifier) halves this damage. This ability replaces the druid’s thousand faces ability.
Disrupting Arc: Beginning at 14th level, as a swift action you can spend a use of your repel aberration ability to create a line of disrupting energy between you and your animal companion (which must be within 20 feet of you for this effect to function). Any aberration along this line is incapable of manifesting psionic powers or using psi-like abilities for 1 round unless it makes a successful Fortitude save (DC 10 + mystagogue level + Cha modifier). This ability replaces the use of wild shape gained at 14th level.
Temporary Seal At 18th level, as a standard action, you can spontaneously create an area similar to a dimensional seal by sacrificing any uncast divine spell (similar to spontaneously casting summon nature’s ally). You choose a point within close range (25 ft. + 5 feet/2 caster levels), and the area extends in a 20-foot-radius emanation centered on that point in space. The duration is 2 rounds per level of the spell sacrificed. Within this area, dimensional travel is impossible (as with the dimensional lock spell), and the effects of any manifest zone are suppressed. This ability replaces the use of wild shape gained at 18th level.
Wracking Arc: At 20th level, as a swift action you can spend a use of your repel aberration ability to create a line of wracking energy between you and your animal companion (which must be within 20 feet of you for this effect to function). Any aberration along this line is stunned for 1d4 rounds unless it makes a successful Fortitude save (DC 10 + mystagogue level + Cha modifier). This ability replaces the unlimited use of wild shape gained at 20th level.
