[More Siberys shards continue to fall from the skies.]

[The groups rides west stopping at a small hamlet not far from the Mournland’s borders. While there they are met by another stranger. A woman named Selia, the Merciful. She too takes an interest in Taveah. Taveah permits Selia to bless her child. She becomes angered when the group mentions Iannar and warns Taveah to stay away from him. Selia disappears without a trace.]

[The group presses forward to Vathirond. Once there the find the Haruspex Assembly headquarters, or at least its remains. The building has been razed to the ground. Vhorgaash suggests to find a House Tharashk Enclave in hopes of learning what has transpired and the location of Urlev, the Gatekeeper who sent he and Kerrik to Farlnen to find the one tortured by shadows.]

[The enclave is a buzz with activity. Bounty posters line the walls. Morthos grins as he sees his old face. The grin quickly turns to a frown when he sees the meager fee for his head. A loud, cantakerous half-orc is at the front desk yelling at the House clerk about some nonsensical issue. The half-orc turns and looks at Vhorgaash, and exclaims _"Ah, I smell a real orc. It’s about time!]

[Jharin of the Wood, as he prefers to be called, is brash, lecherous and full of passion. He takes a keen interest in Vhorgaash. After a brief conversation, Jharin learns that the group seeks information about the fate of Urlev and the Haruspex. Jharin, surprisingly has answers. He tells the group the building was attacked by something out of the Mournlands. The gray mists have grown in recent weeks and are now much closer to Vathirond. There were two survivors: a half-orc named Urlev Torrn and a kalashtar named Malharath. He tells the group that they were headed to Fairhaven, but spoke of traveling to Sharn as well. Malharath looked ill when Jharin last saw them.]

{The party decides to travel to Sharn. The group heads to the local railstation only to learn that the Orien railcars are no longer operational. The dragonshards along the rail lines have become unstable. House Orien shut down all lightning rails after several recent deadly crashes. The group also learns that House Lyrandar has shut down all airship travel for similar reasons, the dragonshard magic is failing.}
