The party spends some time resting and spending their newly gotten gold, but after a few weeks they decided to visit the House Sivis message station.
Problems quickly began to mount from there when the party discovered that the station had been ransacked by a humanoid and some kobolds, who had stolen nothing besides the message Elaydrin ir’Vown directed towards the party.
Fortunately for the party there was no further trouble, and as they left the station a scroll was delivered to them directing the group to meet with Elaydrin.
At the Broken Anvil Tavern Lady Elaydrin handed the party a backpack with instructions and supplies, but before any discussion could take place, a warforged and his kobold band burst into the tavern, determined to take Elaydrin by force.
The warforged, named Cutlass, immediately attacked the warforged Alfonse, screaming about the “flesh lovers.”
As the battle wore on and Cutlass was injured, he began to rant and recite a memorized speech detailing how the warforged would shove aside the weaker fleshlings and dominate the world.
As the adventurers worked on taking down the attackers, Lady Elaydrin fleed, warning them to depart as soon as possible to avoid danger.
