- Inhabitants: Trading Place People
See: Note on Indian Names
Plenty of Fish lies near the site of modern-day Alexandria, inhabited by the Trading Place People (the “Potomac” Indians) along the River of Geese. By 1610, the Trading Place People had become part of the Falling Water Empire, though somewhat resentfully. On the edge of the empire, Plenty of Fish harbors little goodwill towards the Falling Water King, but does not defy him openly. As the name suggests, the village enjoys excellent fishing. On the northern side of the river, a large swamp sits, which locals insist has become the home of a wintuc. Some centuries later, European colonists would drain the swamp and build a city there, calling it Washington, D.C.
