THE EDGE OF EVERYTHING
2020 in the World of Darkness

This is the worst of times. The Hindus call it Kali Yuga, the era of corruption and horror that heralds the ending of the world.
The Hindus don’t know shit about fuck. The world won’t end. It’ll suffer. That’s the whole point of hell — you can’t escape.
These are dark days, even for the World of Darkness. Corruption and greed have permeated all levels of culture, business, and government, undermining centuries of social progress. Economies melt away like ice sculptures as civilization descends into barbarism. Abuses against nature pile up, and the planet may not be habitable for long.
Even some of the things in the shadows grow nervous, while others wait to dance upon the shriveled husk of the world.
This is the World of Darkness, as dark as it could ever be.

A NEW NEW WORLD OF DARKNESS
Newer, darker, worldier
Welcome to The Edge of Everything, a series of short campaigns set in the World of Darkness of 2020. Things are grimmer than ever for humanity, and when the herd suffers, so suffer the hunters.
How will the things in the dark of Northern California fare when all hope slips into twilight?
BITE-SIZED
But ongoing
When I say short campaigns, I mean a series of contained stories set in the different WoD games or “splats.” These will last enough sessions to tell a TV miniseries worth of story.
However, we will return periodically to campaigns and games we enjoy, so these sagas will be ongoing and the setting overall will advance over time.
HOW DID IT COME TO THIS?
Causes and effects
The World of Darkness is not an optimistic setting in the first place, and The Edge of Everything takes its cynicism to the logical extreme. If allowed to progress, the WoD as it is becomes a terrible and grim place, where the malice and machinations of man and monster alike leads to economic, social, and environmental decline on a devastating scale.
A second dark age is coming. Will you weather it like the Romans, the Gauls, or the cockroaches?
