General Information:
Dark skinned drow elves usually live below the surface in elaborate cities and kingdoms. They prefer the darkness and are night dwellers in the open lands. Drow are evil by nature and are known friends to demons and other Chaotic Evil creatures. There is historically a deep emnity between the Drow and surface elves of all types (except the Snow Elf tribes.) The physical appearance of the Drow is striking. They have dark black skin and white or silvery hair. They have sharp angular features and are often a little bit taller than average surface elves. They are usually a matriarchal society with female preistesses serving as primary leaders and movers of Drow society.

In recent years the Drow assisted the surface dwellers during the great tragedy. This perhaps promises a new era of elvish relations as the 4th Age begins, but old prejudices from both sides will be difficult to overcome. It was rumoured the Drow were spared from the sweeping destruction of the God Wars being below the ground, but this is inaccurate if certain travelers are to be believed. They (the Drow) have reported themselves that most of their underground cities were not spared due to earthquakes, cave-ins, volcanic eruptions, and other calamities.

Geographical Information:
The location of most prominent Drow cities or kingdom areas are a closely guarded secret. It is known the Drow have a civilisation located in and underneath the ancient Gnomish mines of Sinev Deep, but other locations are unknown (and the Drow aren’t telling.)

Religion:
Drow worship the Demon Queen Lolth exclusively.
