In the beginning, there was chaos. All of existance was formless, lifeless energy. Except for The Industrialist, the ever existant and Maker of All things. The Industrialist made order of chaos, made all from absense. This shaped land was given the name Creation, and housed all manner of life, all sewn from the same thread of Essence.

The Industrialists lesser kin, The Primordials, wishing to make their own Creation, sought to learn The Industrialists secrets. Fearing their misuse, he refused them all. Out of Jealousy, the The Primordials attacked Creation directly. The Industrialist in turn created the Exalted, mortals made more powerful than even the Gods. These individuals, defending their home and very existance, fought against the Primordials with great bravery, skill, and power, eventually defeating them. Those that fell would become The Darkthrone, rulers and tormentors of The Underworld and the Lost. Those that fled would eventually learn to make their own twisted Creation, but not after changing themselves in the process. These altered Primordials, The Sin-Scarred, rule their new land of Hell, seaking always to undermine, seize, and Destroy Creation, to show that their realm is superior than that of their brother.
