Fallcrest: Crucible of Adventure

The Border Lands are a sparse and desolate area. Home to a hardy folk, whom in their search to be left to their own devices came to the lands to make a life in the hard country. Prone to suspicion of outsiders, folks are not often greeted with open arms.

Recent actions by the Hands of Naarash has foced these folks into desperation, and many have joined the Hand's forces to escape death or worse.

One of the few opposing forces is that of the Cogs, a city-state of mystery, they tout their knowledge of the ending of pain and suffering, of hunger and disease, of everlasting life. Their black cloaked emissaries have made the rounds of the various villages throughout the region with little avail. Though if things continue as they are, they may gain better succes in their recruitment.

Okarthel – Home of the refugees and former repetant members of the Hands of Naarash.

Kelmdale – An average Border Land village and original home of the adventurer known as the Hermit.
