The Sealing
In the end it seemed as if Nozlordu would consume all of Farline and leave nothing but dark space in its place. But Peros rallied his forces and in a final act of desperation and resilient hope, infused his godly powers into his greatest champion. Leading the armies of light against Nozlordu was The Crusader, Peros’ demigod avatar on the battlefield. This mighty champion pushed back the armies of Nozlordu and forced them back into the Dark Gates from which they had entered. The Crusader then sealed these gates preventing the return of Nozlordu’s demonic minions.
Peros led The Crusader to the final battle with Nozlordu and at the end of days the armies of Dark and Light clashed against each other. Though the Crusader was empowered by Peros, he was still no match for the bloated Nozlordu. So in a final act of sacrifice, the Crusader and Peros forced Nozlordu and his army behind the Grand Dark Gate and sealed the huge portal behind them. It is said that till this day, Nozlordu and Peros continue their unending battle behind the sealed gate in between the planes of Farline, Sunline and Voidline.
This great event would become known as The Sealing, and in the absence of Peros and Nozlordu the other gods retreated from the world of Farline leaving the mortal races unguided but free. Today, the gods still play a role in the lives of mortals but not to the great extent as previous times.
The events that occur after this time are referred to as the The Dark Ages
