The Temple and University District of Lis dates back to the first decades of Mathoja’s entry into the Illerian Empire. Originally the land of the Keep of House Zharec, the Tower of the Sages was built along with the High Temple of the Star’s Source and the Holy Grove of the Drugda. Later, the Royal University was built on the remaining land.

This district is usually busy with sages and students, or student rushing about to do their chores or going to classes. In the square, there is a mix of clergy, sages and students. This is all dominated by the Tower.

High Temple of the Star’s Source (Blue buildings)

A. The Grand Cathedral
The Holy Cathedral of The Star’s Source is directly underneath the Grand Cathedral, and is reserved only for the devoted. The Grand Cathedral is open to all.

B. The Holy School
The Library of the Savtach is located directly underneath the Holy School, and interconnects with the Holy Cathedral and Star’s Warriors compound.

C. School, Barracks, Messenger Hawk Roosts and Stables of the Star’s Warriors
Some of the barracks and combat schools are located underground and they interconnect with the Holy School.
