After going to the Trikfixers Cave (or in Gribbits case, dragged there by the watchchief) to meet with the village witch Kuka, the assembled ‘best goblins for the job’ were told to get some hogroot from the trail that leads towards the bad place.
after various witchslaps to gribbit, Kuka informs the horrid lot that they will be rewarded with some treasure from a large chest, that once opened, reveals itself to be full of sparkling gems. having gotten the attention of the least attentive she leaves them to decide whether to go now or wait until morning… they decide to go during the night, but during the decision making Gobbestyk has decided to have some sword swinging practice, upon the legs of some other goblins hut.
emerging from the caves to the sound of Gobbestyk and another fighting, most of the gang jump into the fray as Ballkink and Vruta head over to the rafts to get one ready.
during the fracas, vruta wanders off home as it seems a more sensible idea.
a few dead gobbos later… chuffy, mignon, Gribbit and gobbestyk head over to the raft…
a relatively sedate trip into the spooky woods with various sneakings and scouring the floor for hogroot.
a fair amount of the stuff is found (more than required) then a patrol of mites jumps the group.
some pityful aggression is put forth by the litle blue guys before the gang squash them into the earth and return to the raft, then the caves… the group are offered three gems from the box each, gribbit taking gobbestyk’s share as the barbarian wanders off to the village to practice swinging his sword some more…
