A Fistfull of Quintessence

A Fistfull of Tass is set in the American West in 1867. The civil war has ended, leaving behind a bitter nation of vengeful Republican Unionists, resentful Confederates, and opium addicted war veterans. It takes place in the World of Darkness, where secretive and dangerous supernatural creatures throw shadows made all the stronger by the bright lights of the Enlightenment and Industrial Revolution.
New York author Fitz Hugh Ludlow returned from a tour of the untamed west with jumbled, confused memories. Before they faded completely from his drug-addled mind, he wrote his impressions down in his personal journal. Somehow, this journal came to the attention of United States Military Intelligence. Analysis convinced them that Ludlow had seen on his journey a shipment of lost Confederate gold, or a cache of Conquistator or Aztec treasure. Clues to the bounty’s location lay in his writing.
Unfortunately, the courier with the papers was waylaid by outlaws, last seen boarding the Union-Central railway in Omaha.
The game is going to be played through play-by-post on the Traditional Games board of the Something Awful forums. I’m looking for five players, mortals who will awaken during the game, preferably one geared towards each Path. I’ve recieved a number of character submissions and will be going through them soon.
