After helping the halflings hold the lines in the north the warforged head south but are to slow in travel to do much more then help in mop up efforts and rebuilding. Even during the fighting many had decided to use their newfound lives to try and learn all they could about healing so that they may regain normal bodies one day. Due to their always being around shortly after a death in hopes of fresh research material (if families allow it) they earn the nicknames of “Deaths Aprentices” and the distrust of the common folk. Eventualy they lay claim to the now empty dwarven cities in the mountains where they can study in peace. With the gobblins as willing helpers and a constant trickle of people desperate for miracle cures they slowly amass a wealth of medical knowlege.
