If you’re still out there, I’d be interested to know what font you used for the titles?

Can you offer any tips on describing the visions in a steampunk oriented area? I plan on genre spanning on my own campaign and your campaign seems very fleshed out in terms of… I guess ‘fluffiness’ is a word… Shadowrun’s 6th World is MAgic and Cyberpunk, and I plan on sending them into a kingdom underground from Earthdawn (4th World – Fantasy/ airships) I wanted them to have advanced rather than stagnate, and I figured Steampunk environments would fit the bill. I was imagining something like a cross between BioShock and Crimson Skies, but set underground…

I agree, I too enjoyed the clockwork magic section. The city is incredibly well fleshed out as well. And just so you know, your map was one of two maps that inspired me to become a member of the Cartographers Guild myself (the other being Tear’s Westeros map), and for that you have my utmost thanks.

Cheers,

Very cool setting, and the detail is phenomenal. The clockwork magic section is especially neat. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words redstar. I agree we have very similar visions and i’m inspired by the same sources. Thinking of running a modified Freeport Trilogy with the group. I’ve finally got them to share GM duties though so it’s been great to get to be a player in my ideal setting.

If you are really reading the adventure logs (and not just being kind) i’d suggest skipping back to the Murder on the Roe storyline. It was an interesting experiment and i’m very pleased with how it turned out. Other highlights are the character journals, particularly Ano’s.

My goal is to figure out how to add graphics and maybe use your layout as a template to snazzy up my site a bit. It really needs it. Did you make that wooden gear Fogdown logo yourself? If not mind if i ask the source material?

Keep up the great work, i look forward to spending some time poking around your site and stealing some ideas.

Fantastic stuff and great looking presentation. Love to see it run in a grittier system.

Hey, half-cocked vagrant here. Have a tome to pick with any would-be campaign. I’m not just blowing steam up your crevasse. I deal in fusions of genere-theory, in conjunction with peculiar limit-breakers within those genres. Selling myself as an assistant GM, or NPC/Hero dictate. I like the Banner by the way. Gears and Blood: a worthy crest.

haha, that’s Fogdown! City of Peril; the Thieve’s Down; the Rogue Sanctuary. Keller is lurking around here somewhere…

oh fogdown, there is no place like home. the smell of grime laden alleys, the taste of cool crusty bread, the feel of sharp daggers in your sternum.
