From the outside the building appears to be just like the other established shops in the area: sea-worn and decaying. A worn sign is mounted to the building above the door in large scrolling letters: Dockside Rope Co.

Inside along the wall are spools of very thick rope, most likely used for ships, as well as smaller ropes, used for more domestic purposes. Across the wall are various hooks, pulleys, splices, and mostly everything you need for rigging a boat or that is used with rope. The floors are made of wood; the ceiling is roughly 8ft. high. A long window along the west wall looks out onto the street. A counter separates this room form the back storage area.
