Deep in the underwater libraries of Korabub, the frogs learn and experiment. From the from the mighty wizard to the lowly adept, most magic-users have a vague idea of the frogs and their obsession with the arcane. Nonmagic-users, however, percieve frogs differently. They are seen as shrewd bargainers and ruthless businesspeople, always looking for a bargain.

Physical Description
Frogs are short with lean builds, slimy-looking green skin, and large,bulbous eyes. Their hands and feet are disproportionally large and webbed between the fingers and toes. Frogs often dress in overly embroidered clothing to show off their wealth, and in fact it is a status symbol in most frog communities.

Society
Frog society is mainly built around the various guild outposts that inhabit the city. Each guild has control over a vast majority of Servili’s trade in a particular good or service, for example, alchemy. These guilds are, in turn, held in check by the Trade Council. The Trade Council meets once a year to discuss matters such as taxes and tariffs, and also to initiate new guilds if need be.

Relations
Frogs control many of the world’s markets and merchant guilds, and thus have made many enemies. Frogs tend to leave timberlings and hedgehogs alone, as they are both a bit isolationist. Frogs are constantly trying to make trade connections with the field mice sanghas, but they generally fall apart due to the field mice’s self sufficiency. Frogs and moles have good trade connections, mainly due of the fact that it is rather difficult to grow things underground. On the other hand, connections with the squirrels are cold, thanks in no small part due to religious differences.

Alignment and Religion
Frogs focus on the aquisition of knowledge (and money!) to the exclusion of all else, so they tend to be neutral on both axises. However, some frogs use their knowledge for the betterment of mankind, or themselves, but those frogs are few and far between. The frogs are obsessed with the arcane, so who else would they worship than Golbek, the god of arcane magic? Frogs don’t often go to services to revere him, though. More often a frog will utter a prayer to Golbek to make sure that their new spell or potion doesn’t explode.

Adventurers
Frogs will go off adventuring to find new lore and improve their talents, whether it be the art of wizardry, summoning, or more rarely sorcery. Also, adventuring is often the best chance to “field-test” a new invention or spell.

Small: Frogs are Small creatures and gain a +1 size bonus to their AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a -1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4 bonus on Stealth checks.
Slow Speed: Frogs have a base speed of 2 feet.
Weapon Familiarity: Frogs treat any weapon with the word “frog” in it’s name a martial weapon.
