Ramtank- Kobold Druid
Here is a shortened version of Ramtank’s Bio:
The Balamin Clan of kobold was a small peaceful, isolationist bunch that rarely intruded upon any other creatures. A large cavern, that encompassed a large portion of the earth below the druidic forest of Ganjus, was home to this particular clan. Like most kobolds this clan sought material plunders but only that of “the source” as the called it. The entire clan was spiritually attuned in one way or another. Lead by the most influential in the ways of communing with nature and her spirits. The Elder Shaman bore great significance in both leadership and also instructing his followers in the spiritual ways. In many generations past the Elder Shaman position was reserved for that of his offspring. As fate would have it though, The Elder Shaman at the time Viag had a spiritual premonition. He foresaw the great things this young wormling and cast out his bidding to his clan. He dubbed the egg Ramtank future Elder Shaman of the Balamin Clan. Viag knew he had chosen wisely for Ramtank even as an infant had grasped communing with the spirits at an almost prodigal pace. Ramtank learned much about nature and the spirit that fuel her and in time surpassed all that Viag could conjure. During the years preceding his ascension to Elder, Ramtank lead many surface expeditions and several more subterranean ventures in search for spiritually attuned creatures and items. The clan as a whole began to trust Ramtank more and more after each proving. Only one seemed to despise him no matter what, Viag’s scorned son, Snaggletooth. A wickedly deformed kobold practically ousted by his very own father he loathed the clan that turned their backs on him. During a celebration ceremony of the horde they had collected, Snaggletooth standing beside Ramtank and his father pulled a daring stunt. He drew a dagger from its hilt thrusting it toward Ramtank. Immediately, as if “the source” itself took control of Viag, he threw himself in front of Snaggletooth taking the dagger head on. Crowd in awe Snaggletooth made his escape down a dark corridor. In mourning the clan was depressed at the loss of the great Elder Shaman Viag, and so Ramtank was cast upon the throne of Elder Shaman, just as Viag had predicted. Two years passed under the reign of Ramtank and for the most part, life was fruitful. The first real challenge Ramtank faced as Elder Shaman came near the end of that second year. Snaggletooth was caught red handed stealing from the horde. No one had seen or heard from Snaggletooth since his barbaric outburst. Engulfed in rage Ramtank ordered the clan to make chase of the stray traitor. Warrior after warrior took off after the betrayer, leading the charge was none other than Ramtank. In his pursuit Ramtank was separated from the rest of his band and lost deep within uncharted territories of the caverns. Only through the help of the earthen spirits was he able to make his way back through the maze of caverns. His joy of a return home was lived short only to return to destruction. Dead lie the Clan of kobolds, overwhelmed by a vicious invasion of loot hungry excavator’s. Ramtank had lead his warrior’s after a traitor only to leave his clan vulnerable. With no signs of his warriors return to the great hall and all of the spiritual artifacts stolen Ramtank fled to the surface to pursue his clan’s murderers. Consumed with pain and fear Ramtank had lost all that meant so much to him. It took three years of seclusion and mediation before Ramtank had decided to fulfill Viag’s prophecy. Ramtank was distend for great things and he intended to do just that. Set now on a self righteous journey to educate all living creature of a harmony achievable only through the serenity of nature. Ramtank was up to a tough challenge however. Oblivious to most of the atrocities happening on the surface, he had little knowledge of the surface races utter hatred of the “titan spawn.” Everyday was a new challenge of intolerance to his race occasionally even violence. Ramtank was ever vigilant however bound and determined to bring a deeper understanding of the Spirits to all surface dwellers. After attempting to study many caravan’s and small villages through his fortunate camouflage of shape shifting he was unable to sway his audiences to accept his presence. Not until he stumbled upon a Gnome by the name of Newt was he accepted as a creature of noble intent. Newt had a great wealth of knowledge of the surface races and presented a great opportunity for Ramtank to broaden his horizons. Newt provided many things for Ramtank but perhaps the most important was a means for Ramtank to put his past transgressions behind him and focus more upon the present.
