Yes, permanently trashed. This game just didn’t shape up at the table with my group in the way I wanted it to. I approached it wrong and things just didn’t feel right. It was like buying an awesome new shirt only to find out it was a size to small. Sure, you could still wear it and look cool, but you’ll be slightly uncomfortable the whole time.

One of these days, I’m going to have to look at Savage Worlds. The Fear the Boot guys can’t say enough good stuff about it. If only I could get them to profile Obsidian Portal…

Well, it’s good to get the feel right away and be honest with yourself. No sense playing a game where people aren’t having a good time. There’s so little time to game that we have to squeeze every last bit of enjoyment out. When it stops being fun, it’s time to try something different.
