This is an amazing album!! This orchestrated score has a a few different feels to it that create an overall very interesting mood. At times the classical sounding pieces are reminiscent of grand halls and ballrooms, but there is almost always an air of mystery, and there is a subtle darkness to the album. All of this leaves the impression of a Renaissance era game, high society and dark secrets such as cults that worship forgotten gods; or secret societies of vampires that make up the aristocracy. I can’t recommend this enough for any game which might have any of those campaign elements mentioned, it would be great for Ravenloft but even better for Masque of the Red Death or such games.
