Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails creates a dark ambient electronic soundscape with droning and pulsing sometimes suggestive of a giant machine in the distance. Sound fx, including windy sounds and even whispers, give the ambience a depth that makes it come alive. The only track that doesn’t fit this theme is the first track which has a heavy industrial feel and is more suitable for a battle. Don’t buy this if you are looking for music in the normal sense of the word. Not for every game, but I’m a big Reznor fan and I couldn’t wait to get the oppertunity to use this.
NOTE: Best when the subwoofer is turned way up!
