After one night’s rest, the trip became eventful again. As always, Viego almost got killed. He was paralized and almost died at the hands of a water ooze. Thankfully, Freddie and Shivara were able to heal him, not that he was worth it. Marcus and I did some intense exercises with Viego making sure he would no longer drop so easily.

I picked up another creature, a female bane named Shikara. Banes are night humanoid creatures with white eyes used in some places as sex slaves.

While on the path the next day, we encountered a dead Heironian soldier hanging upside down. We cut it down and fed it to Tiki. Upon searching his body, we found a note indicating that his group of Heironians were in the forest to find a dragon to bring back for Queen Makisha’s coronation. This is when a group of them attacked and tried to drag Tiki off in a net. We killed the 4 Heironian bastards and sent their heads back to the Queen as a present for her coronation. I signed the note with my name and Calisto’s seal.

Freddie was able to set up a scrying show so we could watch as the Queen received her gift. This was truly something to celebrate, seeing the look of horror, fear in disgust in the Queen’s face.
