50 years after the emergence of the dragons, many believe the gods died. Prayers went unanswered and powers bestowed by the gods vanished. Some think they killed one another through bickering about how the world should be run, others think something stronger killed them. Some blame the dragons, while others think they still live and have simply decided to watch.
