Myrkan is the newest town to be founded in Tryton’s Heart, established only 30 years ago. It was formed by pirates and sailors as a place they could go to truly relax without having to worry about the laws some of the other cities and towns had in effect. In more recent years, there has been an effort to have some sort of law enforcement in the town, although it is still common to see professions here that are normally outlawed in more civilized communities. Currently in charge of the city is a now retired pirate named Silvanus Berwyn. Once captain of the Waverunner, he decided to bring some sort of order to the town he helped develop in order to keep it from turning into a city too dangerous to enjoy.
