Never knew your deal with lowering HD by one step …. well, now I do :)

yah, it was something I came up with at that moment. good way to make sure that those d4 characters don’t end up with ugly low HP.

I’ve always told people not to accept a “1” on their HD rolls. I think that’s just too much of a mugging to have to deal with. Roll a “2” and it’s a “Sorry, better luck next time” :)

I think we should try an all drow campaign sometime. That would be deliciously evil.

Hmmm, an Umbragen drow game would be interesting, Though I still think an all Hobgoblin “Heroes of the Dhakhanni” campaign would be sweeeet…

I was seriously tempted to make a Gnoll/Flind Warblade (from ToB:BoNS) or Swashbuckler
-thought it would make for an interesting twist to monster races being played.March 15, 2008 at 01:34 AM
Bah, gnolls are nothing compared to hobgoblins, gnolls can barely build a pile of crap, much less one of the most powerful nations to have ever spanned Eberron.

Yeah but that was half the point … we expect Hobgoblins to be capable in such dedicated classes as Warblade and Swashbuckler … who would ever expect a Gnoll?

And besides, who says the Gnolls have to be so incompetent?
