The Zhentarim and slavery
The Zhentarim see slavery as a quick and lucrative way of obtaining funds and labor necessary to expand their network and empire.
Most slavery is done utilizing contracted ‘snatch men’. These contractors collect ‘cargo’ and deliver to a Zhentarim contact/agent once a month, on a set date, at a set location.
The Zhent agent transports the ‘cargo’ to predesignated labor sites, Zhentil Keep, or sells it in various cities and ports of call where such activity is allowed (ex: Thay and Mulmaster).
Recently Zhent slaving rumors have indicated they are expanding purchasing interest in not only living cargo, but also dead as well. Of course, living cargo pays out much more.
