In the morning, Corthen discusses wanting to return to later during the day to check the tomb once again. He suggests that the party swim in the pond and just a few members enter the tomb so as to not arouse the suspicions of the villagers.
It is decided that Corthen, Saedellas, and Tellazar enter the tomb to check for the Jester. Later in the day, the group lounges on the banks of the pond while several members swim around in the waters. The trio enter the water and dive to the doors. They are still unlocked from the previous night. They search the Jester’s tomb which is still empty. They return and tell the others that the Jester was not inside.
The group decides to spend the remainder of the afternoon and night in Amphail. Erith puts on a performance at the Stone Stallion Inn that night which is well received. Many in the village remember him singing at Laughing Bandit before his bardic training. Cortonas and Corthen drink too much wine and have to be assisted upstairs at the end of the evening by their friends.
