The group rides hard for Amphail. Around midmorning they pass a mounted patrol from Waterdeep. They arrive in Amphail after dark. The group secures their horses in a thicket not far from the edge of town leaving Erith and Cortonas to guard them. The others enter the Horse Pond and swim down to the entrance to the tomb. Tellazar uses the ring to open the doors and the group heads into the Maiden King’s Tomb. The party makes a direct path to the Jester’s tomb in case he has reappeared there. The group finds no signs of the undead fool. Corthen leads the party through every room and they search every crevice and shadow for the elusive creature. Giving up, they bar the door to his tomb, just in case he has not yet been reintegrated inside the tomb. The group decides to go into the village and rent rooms for the night at the inn.
