After the battle at Fauligmere, the Altdorf Band were considering their situation. A brisk wind kept them awake as they discussed the situtation at the docks of Marienburg.

Eldred von Stauffer handed them at letter to the counsilor of the Emperor. “This sealed letting contain all information about the dark elf invasion. Be sure to hand it over personally.” He paused “An invasion of this scale would normally be unthinkable. I doub’t anyone would take your word for it, so you may wish to keep this to yourselves”

The party was joined by Karl Heinrich Weishaupt, an agent of von Sapponatheim. They soon set off towards Altdorf in a small pram.

On the trip to Altdorf Karl Heinrich Weishaupt and Marcus Strauss encountered several burned down farms with the families killed, and concluded it to be the work of Tobias Maxemilion Folkvanger. The corrupt witch hunter.

Arriving at Altdorf, the band discovered the corrupt witch hunters ship at the docks.
However they quickly made it to the Palace, to seek an audience. Upon arrival it was night time, and the guards refused to let them in or disturb the councilor without an appointment. Things got a bit dramatic as the party told about the Dark Elf invasion and made their case for the urgency of the mission. The guards flat out dismissed the claims and only agreed to put them in jail. Karl was transfered to the Dock Watch Station.

After a night at in the cells, the party again sought out the palace. At noon, they arrived and entered the palace office. Drama occurred as they insisted to skip the line, but they finally managed to get in front with their urgent needs. “Not available until 6 PM???!!!” Karl yelled. The party then went on to argue their case. They elaborated wildly about the corrupt witch hunter, a missing chaos artefact and the dark elf invasion. Alas, when the clerk found it hard to belive, they placed a severed human head on the counter, to prove their point about the invasion.
Guards stepped forward at this commotion and the party presented the sealed letter, again urging to see the councillor. Karl ripped open the letter and handed it to the clerk. The whole scene ended with the party being arrested and letter and head confiscated.

Another night in jail, and next morning the party made plans for how they could secure that the counsilor got the letter. Learning of the counsilors visits at a local bordello, they bribed the staff to arrange for a forced meeting.

Next morning Marcus Strauss got in touch with a young witch hunter to get acceptance into the order and the inform of the corrupt Tobias Maxemilion Folkvanger. Mistrustful, but realizing the severity of the situation, they headed for Bernard Salvatore residence. An old familliar face of the Altdorf Band.
They found the house open, and entered to investigate. Upstairs they found Salvatore dead over his desk, and the room full of notes and details about their recent doings. Who would have killed Salvatore for investigating into the Altdorf band??
The answer would be discovered soon enough, as a demon appeared from a blood rune by the door. A khornish demon attacked them relentlessly and the young witch hunter lost his life in the battle. The party barely surving the fight, as they finally banished the demon back into the warp.
Upon the arrival of the city watch, the band was again arrested, this time for the murder of two witch hunters.

Trapped at the dock watch station and waiting for the transfer to the order of the witch hunters, and their final doom, they worked hard to escape. Their stay was interrupted by elven emmesary Markith and his guards, seeking to torture them for the location of the spear of destiny, fortunatly they did not stay too long.
With the help of a friendly group of adventureres, they escaped the prison by smuggling in some weapons and attacking the guards.

Out on the streets again, they made contact to the bordello. Just in time the band arrived to find the councillor strapped naked to a bed, as agreed. The band pressed for him to hear their story before setting him free. Naturally he was outraged. To keep it short, they managed for him to look into the dark elf invasion, but they surely also earned themselves a powerful enemy.

The band made an attempt to stop the corrupt witch hunter from leaving docks, but without luck. Finally Marcus Strauss decided to head directly for the Holy order of the Witch Hunters to tell them everything and hopefully be accepted into their order.
Marcus Strauss was arrested upon sight for the murder of two holy witch hunters and various other charges. It was a long night of torture, where Marcus did manage not to implicate his fellow adventureres with lies just to ease the pain.
After a swift trial, Marcus was executed at dawn for his crimes.

The rest of the Altdorf band quickly left for Ubersreik. Altdorf was currently not a place to stay without any evidence against Tobias Maxemilion Folkvanger. It was becoming clear that their status as free men would be tied to the capture or death of Tobias.

Additional Notes:
- The party had contact with Angelina von Saponatheim, the Saponatheim Merchant Lady in Altdorf.
- The party had contact with Hanzi “The Fish”. He escaped together with the party when they did their jailbreak.
- The party was arrested several times at the Dock Watch Station under the command of Captain Brenner
