Its a slow day in the store, while you guys are all huddled in the corner trying to decide what to do about Jon’s disappearance when he stumbles in looking haggard and tired. He’s been gone for almost a week now.

Watch for signs he has been compermised
Jon sits down at the table and looks utterly exhausted.
“I have had the worst night ever. I went to bed and had some really weird dreams. My head is killing me and I’m sore in so many places. Man, I hope I sleep tonight.” He yawns heartily, rubbing his hand over his head. “So what have you guys been up to?”
“LOOKING FOR YOU ITS BEEN ALMOST A WEEK!” (NOT YELLING JUST SNEAKING AT WORK)
I’m not going to drop this. I will keep following up on everything we have. including “test driving” the van to look them over for clues.
“Dude. You got picked up by someone. I’m a bit hesitant to talk to you until we’re sure you’re clean.”
“Hey Jatara, weren’t you looking for the Pathfinder Kingmaker book for the second adventure? I have it if you’re interested.”
“yes Todd I need that book”
Jatara goes out to her car to get something and notices a man in a truck watching her. She comes back in and quietly mentions it to Todd who heads out to under the guise of getting a Pathfinder book and notices the same thing. He comes back in and Jatara walks over and leans against the glass of the storefront while she talks. Everyone looks at her and notices the guy in his truck watching and looking around the parking lot and occasionally playing with his phone.
I go outside to have a cigarette, a habit I quit years ago, but have recently picked back up. I ask the man “hey, you got a light?”
say “hay is that guy in the truck checking out my Ass” and see if he seems to notice
“Huh? Sorry? Uh no, I don’t smoke, sorry.”
“Ooh, is that the new iPhone?” (I move in closer, trying to see what he’s doing on his phone).
Ok he is distracted with Rachael so I will take a close look at his face and see if I recognize him
~ Jon is confused. ~
“I haven’t been gone a week. I saw you guys last night. What the hell are you guys smoking?”
I show Jon the last weeks news papers and tell him to look at his cell phone it will show the date
To Rachel: “Uh no, its a Droid something or other. I dunno.” He is playing Angry Birds on his phone.
To Wendy: He doesn’t notice your comment as he is distracted by Rachel. He doesn’t look familiar.
OCC: the last comment confuses me. Who is Wendy’s character talking to?
OOC**
While out getting my book, I want to be checking the car for any markings, signs, etc. I want to take down the plate number, and when Rachel goes over to start talking to the guy, I want to try to sneak over to the passenger door. I want to check it, very slowly, to see if it is locked or not.
Mike, text me directly if it’s unlocked. I have a funny idea.
To Jon: “Do you remember anything that happened to you?” trying to pick up on anything that he knows but not directly remembers.
Rob: You get flashes of memories that are very hazy. You get the impression that he was bound and that people were experimenting on him in different ways. You also get a flash of Superman and his two new team mates.
The cameras are rolling as WLWT Cincinnati news is live with Helix.
I’m Sheree Paolello and we are here at the children’s wing of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Helix, one of the many people of Cincinnati who have developed powers, is with me. He has told me he won’t talk, but wanted to show the city of Cincinnati that he isn’t a criminal. He has gone on to tell me that what happened at the Gateway incident was not an act of terrorism, but an act of self-defense……..he’s doing it? Get the cameras on him.The cameras pan from Sheree to Helix laying a hand on many of the sick children’s foreheads. They instantly look healthy and fine. Helix does this for a while. Every kid gets healed. Helix looks exhausted and turns to the camera.
Look, I’m not a bad guy. I was protecting my friends when those FBI agents attacked us. They pulled guns on us. I’ll go to court, but I go as an innocent man. But anyways…….I figured I would use my powers for good. All these kids, they are cured of their aliments. They get to go home for Christmas and enjoy it while being healthy. That is all. Thank you for your time.
Helix turns and walks away as the kids are celebrating with their parents and the doctors are amazed and in awe.
