The list is obviously not all comprehensive as just about anything can be accomplished with a ritual. If it’s not here, feel free to design one. Make it like a character full of attributes. Just make sure to balance it with a lot of defects or it’ll be really difficult to cast.

Protection Rituals

Circle of Protection
Rank: 2
Components: Magnetic chalk or natural circle
Ritual Time: Special
Effect: A force field is erected along the lines of the circle for 10 damage reduction, defending anyone inside the circle from everyone outside of it. It does not protect people outside of the circle.
Directions: Draw a circle with magnetic chalk, or find a natural location where a circle is indented into the ground. Within the center of that circle, say a power phrase. The length of the ritual depends upon the circle’s creation. If one pre-exists, it is instant. If one must be drawn, the size of the circle drawn..

Magic Lock
Rank: 2
Components: Silver dust, a droplet from the first dew of spring
Ritual Time: 10 minutes
Effect: The door is locked by magic and can only be opened with a password determined at the end of the ritual.
Directions: The silver must be blown into the lock or door mechanism; excluding one, spread into the cracks on the opening side. Ritual words must be spoken, drawing the sealing runes against the door. Finally, the droplet must mix with the silver dust in a focal point or in the lock mechanism, with a spoken password completing the spell. The password determines the unlocking word.

Detection Ward
Specialization: Protection
Rank: 1
Components: Writing material, magical focus, and a bell
Ritual Time: 10 square feet per minute
Effect: Intruders set off an alarm (such as a bell) when entering the warded area.
Directions: Detection runes are written on the walls with any writing material, such as a marker, chalk, blood, or even invisible ink. This can be done more permanently with etchings or scrapes. Each 10 square feet requires one elaborate rune, which takes a minute to draw. Therefore a 2000 square foot home requires 200 such runes to be drawn on the walls, requiring 200 minutes, or 3 hours and 20 minutes. Everyone inside of the building when the ward is constructed is considered safe and will pass through without setting off the alarms. New visitors can be made safe by adding a drop of their blood to one of the runes from the inside.

Components: Scrying Mirror, Magic Focus, Personal Object of the victim

Effect: Locates the victim remotely.
Directions:

Universal Rituals

Minor Levitation
Rank: 1
Components: Magical focus
Ritual Time: 1 round
Effect: Objects of low weight and low size are lifted and controlled by the caster.
Directions: Magic symbols are written in the air by finger gestures as the power word is spoken, causing a small object to levitate.

Recharge Magic
Specialization:

Components:
Ritual Time: 10 minutes per CP of Item of Power
Effect: Recharges an Item of Power with Limited Uses (Instantaneous) Restriction.

Effect: Can see magic within a 3m radius.

Healing Boon
Specialization: Healing

Effect: Increased natural healing if patient rests, equal to medical attention, doubling the natural heal overtime rate until the user is fully healed. If the patient is re-injured, the boon is no longer effective and must be performed again.

Curses

Remove Curse
Rank: Special
Components: Special
Ritual Time: Special
Effect: The curse an individual is afflicted with is removed.
Directions: The type of curse used on the person must be known to reverse it. With this knowledge, the curse must be performed in reverse. It takes the same amount of time and same components to undo the spell. The rank is also the same as the curse.
