I woke up confused. I’m in a cave again. I don’t remember how I got there. All I can remember is the sound of giggling babies. OHHH Florannus, the freaky babies! They were running on the walls, the ceiling, and the floors. They had tentacles with sharp points coming out of their backs. They moved so fast, jumping and leaping from ceiling to walls.

Dremin the scout and I took on one of the 3 that came skittering in to the room. Dremnin smashed it off the wall. The second one stabbed him and he went slack. I tried to protect the both of us but then Dremnin put his sword in its scabbard ran off down the hall way, right past 2 of the tainted babies. I ran in to the hall and turned to defend our back thinking he was going for better ground. Dremnin just kept running.

There I was in the hall all by my self. I could see Fafnir running towards me, slack jawed expression on his face. Then from behind him the freaky tainted babies came, three of them. I dodged and danced through the first few tentacles. Bam I’m hit, a sharp pain right in the center of my chest.

Now we are in the cave. Every one is here. No one is injured. We all take time to look at each other with the same blank look of where the hell are we?

There is only one way to travel so wee head off. We have no idea where we are going. After about ten minutes of walking we hear the sounds of combat. We turn twards it up a smaller hall way that is only about 5 feet wide. I was in the back of the group so I could not see what happened. Vridich must have been threatened, he lashed out with a spell and combat was joined. Luck and Urgral took the front. Fighting what looked like wild men. There was no way for those of us in the back to help so we started scooping up stones and hurling them at the enemies we could see to great effect. Two were put down in the first volley of throne stones. Dremnin took to leading the charge in to the room yelling “TO ME!!” I followed breaking left once in to the main room, Dremnin went right.

There were two of the enemies still left that we were fighting but there were many more in the main room attacking 4 men with shaved heads. The combat was fierce 2 of the bald men dropped from wounds as we came in. The group went in to full attack mode weapons were put to work and spells were put to there prober use. We looked like we have been fighting together for years. We covered each others backs and took advantage of the openings that were given to us by our comrades. In a flash the mob of wild men was battered down to two remaining members. They tried to make a brake for it but Fafnir selflessly trough himself in front of one of them to block his path, taking a shot in the back doing it. The last one did not get another chance to hurt any one.

In the end there was only one bald man still standing, another was barely alive. Vridich provided first aid and kept him that way. The last standing bald man was weary of us but did at least talk to us. He asked us to perform our skills to prove we were not tainted. When Dremnin started drawing a map of the kear we had just been in his eyes went wide and he took us to their camp.

We were introduced to Thorin Kuyu, a descendent of Darin Kuyu. He told us that he thought we were in a pocket realm produced by a horror that had invaded their kear There seams to be no escape from the realm. Not even the spirits of the dead are able to escape this realm. It had been lead in to the Kear by a nethermancer named Seleny.

Seleny had been a self taught initiate. She had made a deal with the horror in exchange for becoming a powerful nethermancer. In the deal Seleny had become the anchor of this pocket realm. Thorin believes that the only way out of the realm is to kill Seleny. So he proposed that our group move in to her command center through a back route while he and his people made an attack on the main entrance to draw away the wild men and monsters. After some arguments and discussion on the matter we decided that it is the only way.

They are going to give and make us weapons and armor. Most of us got leather armor. But Thorin said that he had one suit of metal armor that he had been making. He did not know why he was making it. Just that he felt that the fates had told him to make it. He gave it to luck and it fit like he had taken measurements before he had started making it..

I decided to give the Kuyu’s Shield to Dremnin. If he is going to go charging off in to combat like he does he is going to need all the protection he can get. With the return of my strength and the blessing of Thorin, I have decided it is time to start using Kuyu’s War Hammer. It will be a true asset combat. It has a long two handed handle that will be a great defense. And the head has the weight to give it true crushing power. I will take some time to learn how to use it before we go off on this mission.

Dremnin has talked of a party before the mission. We need to lift the spirits of these people by singing songs to Florannus, dancing, and general revelry. I love a good party I can’t wait.
