Since acquiring hyperspace technology from the enigmatic Irrothlyrr, the human race has founded dozens of colonies great and small among the nearby stars. Most of these colonies are affiliated with the Interplanetary League, a loose confederation of the major worlds.
During humanity’s exploration of the stars they encountered many other races both friendly and hostile.
