The most common weapons on Bamal are simple weapons either salvaged from the ruins of Those Who Came Before or crafted from salvaged materials such as rebar and scrap metal. Guns are also found on Bamal, but most have been left to the elements for years and are unreliable at best. The Rana-suri have developed a specialized rifle to use while lying in saddles on Tomu-Suri, but they are awkward to handle while standing. Most people who use guns have a knack for gun-smithing and are able to keep their weapons in fighting order.
Guns: Firearms are becoming more common. They are produced by small guilds, lone gunsmiths, and the Rana-suri nation. The baseline Gunslinger rules and the prices for ammunition found here apply. Early firearms and damaged advanced firearms are available, but are somewhat rare. Adventurers who want to use guns must take the Gunsmithing feat just to make them feasible weapons. Advanced firearms exist, but only as rare and wondrous items—the stuff of high-level treasure troves.
A note about weapons: Characters will be able to use nearly any weapon they want, but keep in mind that the weapons will either be from Those Who Came Before and will have been left in the elements for some time, or crafted from whatever material is convenient. The Gräkerin and Rana-suri have some metalworking knowledge, but practically the technology is roughly akin to the Bronze Age. Check with me if you have an idea, but don’t know if it will fit in the setting.
