THE POWER OF HEALING

Elkintra looks round at his companions. They are still all in the darkness of the dream-world but at least the enemy has now been vanquished, thanks in no small way to Big Daddy. He certainly came in the nick of time, as Elkintra, Lore and the Imp all seemed to be nearing the final curtain without any applause.

Now, with a chance to breath, the dark elf reflected on the battle they had just fought. Magcial healing could be such a powerful tool in any battle, and the one they had completed was no exception. The pensive drow reflected on how this had never really been factored into his learned battle strategy of Mobilise Self, Ask Questions, Immobilise Enemy, Inflict Pain and Death Yet, the young Duskryn sorcerer had seen how important a factor this was. It was certainly a major reason for the three Harbinger Archons being such formidable foes.

Of course, on his early Underkiln excursions, some Healing Potions were available, but the haughty priestesses (who had the means to heal) spent more time “hurting” than “healing” and Elkintra now wondered if this was a weakness in Drow strategy, as opposed to the strength it had always been presented to him as.

Elkintra Rilyn Duskryn was beginning to enjoy his new life. Now, if only they could find a way-out of this strange SHADOW-WORLD they had somehow stumbled into.
