Skill: Intelligence or Wisdom

In the 1930s, not everybody can. While it’s probably more common than not, you’re still allowed to make a character that doesn’t have this skill. Everyone can speak English regardless. Many professions, including roles children can take, have Read as one of their required skills.

You may take this additional times, each one pertaining to another language. Any language you can read, you can also be assumed to speak.
